Summary
We are seeking a talented Chef to join our dedicated team , you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents. Your culinary expertise will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare balanced meals that meet the nutritional needs of residents.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
- Collaborate with care staff to accommodate special dietary requirements.
- Create menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and resident preferences.
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and order as necessary.
- Ensure kitchen is kept clean all the time
- Weekly food order
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, preferably in a care home or hospitality setting.
- Excellent knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and adapt to changing needs.
- Understanding of dietary restrictions and nutrition is highly desirable.
