Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and personable Waitresses to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in food preparation and setup as needed
- Manage multiple tables efficiently, prioritising guest needs
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining area throughout service
- Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Excellent organisational skills and time management abilities
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and transactions
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Experience in serving within a busy environment, demonstrating resilience under pressure
