Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves delivering exceptional guest experiences through prompt and courteous service, supporting the kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dining area. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for food service, and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant environments is necessary. Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared dishes from the kitchen to the FOH team and guests in a timely and professional manner
- Assist servers with table service when required, including serving drinks and clearing tables
- Support the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to during service and handling of dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate service flow
- Uphold high standards of guest services by providing attentive, courteous, and efficient assistance
- Handle guest enquiries with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary
- Assist with meal presentation and garnishing as directed by the kitchen staff
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or related roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Experience in food preparation or cooking is advantageous
- Delivery driver experience or familiarity with delivery protocols is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards is desirable
- Skills in guest services, serving, and maintaining high levels of communication are essential
- Experience working in hotel or barista environments can be beneficial
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
