Job Summary

Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow during service periods
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive team environment
- Prepare high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment maintenance and sanitation procedures
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a professional kitchen setting
- Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
- Demonstrable experience in food safety practices and compliance with hygiene standards
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of serving procedures and customer service principles within a culinary context
- Leadership qualities with the ability to oversee multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
