Xpert Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s largest exporters of second-hand trucks, who are looking to add a HGV Painter to their busy and growing Stoke-on-Trent operation.
£12.71 – £14.00 per hour | Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:30pm (42.5 hours)
The Role:
As a key part of the workshop team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all vehicles are prepared and finished to a high standard before export. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily and weekly targets while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Preparing commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, for paint
- Spray painting and finishing vehicles to a high standard
- Carrying out paint repairs in line with customer specifications
- Inspecting your work to ensure a consistent, high-quality finish
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
- Following all health & safety procedures
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in HGV, automotive, or industrial painting
- Experience using spray guns and knowledge of painting techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
