About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead our Adult Supported Living service. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate care professional who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support and ensuring the people we support live fulfilling, independent lives.
As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the effective day-to-day management of the service, ensuring that high standards of care, safeguarding, compliance and quality are maintained. You will provide strong leadership to the team, promote a positive workplace culture and drive continuous improvement across the service.
Key Responsibilities
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the supported living service
- Promote and safeguard the welfare, dignity and independence of adults supported by the service
- Ensure the service delivers safe, effective and person-centred support
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with the Registered Provider, staff teams, families, professionals and external agencies
- Implement and maintain company policies, procedures and quality standards
- Monitor and evaluate service performance, objectives and quality improvements
- Develop and communicate service plans and support the ongoing growth and development of the service
- Ensure the service operates effectively within agreed budgets and financial expectations
- Support the promotion and development of the service within the community
Leadership & Staff Management
You will be responsible for:
- Recruiting, inducting and developing a skilled and committed staff team
- Providing leadership, guidance and motivation to staff
- Completing staff supervisions, performance reviews and appraisals
- Supporting staff development and identifying opportunities for progression
- Creating an open, inclusive and positive management culture
- Promoting effective multidisciplinary working with health and social care professionals
About You
We are seeking a Registered Manager who is:
- Passionate about supporting adults to achieve greater independence and wellbeing
- An experienced leader within health and social care
- Confident managing teams and delivering high standards of care
- Able to demonstrate strong organisational, communication and leadership skills
- Committed to continuous improvement and achieving excellent outcomes for the people supported
- Able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service delivery
Essential Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience working within an adult care or supported living environment
- Experience managing or leading a care team
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, quality standards and person-centred support
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- A recognised management qualification, such as:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
- Registered Managers Award (RMA)
- Level 4 Leadership and Management qualification within Care Services
- Level 4 Health and Social Care qualification
A nursing qualification or relevant professional background would be desirable.
