Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare, with the ability to communicate effectively in English. This role is to work in our fast paste childcare breakfast and afterschool club in the heart of swinton, Ideally somone who holds a level 2 or 3 childcare qualification although we will consider unqualifed for the right person
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to children, fostering their emotional, social, and physical development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to care.
- Manage daily activities and routines, ensuring that children's needs are met in a timely manner.
- Drive children to various activities or appointments as required, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Set up play based acitives within our warm and nurturing envioronment
- Maintain a clean and organised environment within the Club or childcare setting.
- Support with headcounts
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting is preffered
- A background in early childhood education or childcare is desirable.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and families.
- active, fun and energetic person who is willing to get messy!
