Meadowbanks Care Home is looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. Hours (Part Time & Full Time)
- Early shifts = 08.00 - 14.00
- Late shifts = 14.00 - 20.00
- Night shifts = 20.00 - 08.00
About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will:
- Work with others to ensure residents needs are supported
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Provide personal care including washing, dressing and support with mobility
- Assist residents with meals and hydration, ensuring nutritional needs are met
- Support residents with daily activities and encourage independence where possible
- Follow individual care plans and report any changes in residents’ needs or wellbeing
- Escalate concerns appropriately to ensure resident safety and wellbeing
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Care Assistant, ideally in a care home
- Is confident, calm, and professional under pressure
- Has good communication skills
- Is committed to providing outstanding care
- Has a genuine, caring nature and strong values
