Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising front-of-house staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including serving, hosting, and barista team members
- Oversee food presentation and ensure quality standards are maintained during service
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and optimize table utilization for smooth service flow
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the venue
- Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming atmosphere
- Support staff training programmes to uphold service excellence and operational efficiency
- Monitor stock levels of front-of-house supplies and coordinate with suppliers as needed
- Lead by example in demonstrating hospitality best practices and professional conduct
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management and leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety standards
- Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel services is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality software systems is advantageous
