About the Project
We are seeking an experienced Furniture Maker, Cabinet Maker or Skilled Joiner to assist with a bespoke school fit-out project taking place during August.
The project involves manufacturing and installing a range of custom plywood furniture and storage solutions for an educational environment. This is a hands-on role requiring a high standard of craftsmanship, accuracy and attention to detail.
Scope of Works
The successful candidate will assist in the construction and installation of:
- Bespoke toy storage units
- Shelving systems
- Tall book storage units
- Children’s tables and activity furniture
- Complex style plywood cut-outs and shaped components
- Custom-built educational furniture
- General joinery and assembly work
Requirements
- Proven experience in furniture making, cabinet making or bespoke joinery
- Ability to accurately read and work from technical drawings
- Experience working with plywood and sheet materials
- High level of attention to detail and finish quality
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Own tools and equipment essential
- Availability for approximately 1-2 weeks during August
- Reliable and professional attitude

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can problem-solve on site and is comfortable working on bespoke, one-off pieces rather than mass-produced furniture.
