Adult Health & Disability Clinicians in Barnstaple
(Hybrid: home-based with local site assessments).
What’s in It for You Salary: £42,000
Annual Bonus: Up to 10%
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
Shifts: No weekends, evenings or bank holidays
Working Pattern: Around 70% home-based

Who We’re Looking For
Experienced healthcare professionals with
12+ months’ post-registration experience, including:
- Registered Adult Nurses (RGN)
- Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN)
- Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD)
- Physiotherapists
- Occupational Therapists
- Paramedics
Experienced Functional Assessors are also welcome to apply.
What You Need
- Valid NMC or HCPC registration (without restrictions)
- Strong clinical reasoning and report-writing skills
- Confident IT capability
- Ability to commute to Barnstaple for face-to-face assessments
- Full right to work in the UK
The Role
As an
Adult Health & Disability Clinician, you’ll apply your clinical expertise to evaluate how health conditions affect day-to-day life.
You will:
- Conduct adult-only functional assessments
- Review clinical and medical evidence
- Produce structured, evidence-based reports
- Work independently with ongoing clinical support
- Take full control of your diary after six months
This is
not a diagnostic or treatment role.
