Evergreen Power UK is a leading Solar PV and battery storage sales and installations company with a head office based in Croydon Surrey and depots throughout the UK.
We are looking for a full time in house, bookkeeper/purchasing administrator to join our friendly office team in Croydon . Working together with our administration and installations teams you will primarily be responsible for ordering stock for jobs then making sure that equipment is recorded on QuickBooks and chasing invoices payments. Responsibilities' include ensuring we are sourcing the best prices possible from the market place.
We are a group of companies so we will also need you to manage all the invoices that come in, get them authorised and process them for payment.
Requirements ;
- 1–3 years’ experience in a bookkeeping role
- Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Good understanding of debits and credits
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable working in an office-based environment
- Good communication skills
Your duties will include:
- Receiving all purchase invoices , getting them signed off for payment, & loading them on to Quickbooks.
- Ordering stock . Comparing prices with suppliers to ensure best deals.
- Raising purchase orders, filling invoices
- General book keeping duties
- Liaising with Accountant to pay role and wages,
You must have a good working knowledge of QuickBooks and be competent in using Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience with Purchasing, acquiring best quotes and sourcing the best deals is a must.
