We are currently recruiting compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our care home teams across a number of locations throughout Newcastle, Sunderland, and Northumberland.
This is an excellent opportunity for caring individuals who are passionate about supporting older people and making a positive difference to residents' lives. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering person-centred care, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing in a warm and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Assist residents with eating, drinking, and maintaining good nutrition and hydration.
- Promote residents' independence, dignity, privacy, and choice at all times.
- Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional wellbeing.
- Support senior care staff and management in delivering exceptional standards of care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies.
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' UK experience in a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, or Support Worker role.
- A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of person-centred care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans and instructions.
- Flexible and reliable approach to work.
- Good standard of spoken and written English.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
