Job Overview
We are looking for energetic, outgoing and confident Promotions Staff to help drive customers into one of Manchester's newest city centre venues.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting new people, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a busy, social environment. You'll be representing our brand on the streets, speaking to students, locals and visitors, promoting our venue, and encouraging people to come in and experience everything we have to offer.
As one of the first faces people meet, you'll play a key role in creating a positive first impression and increasing footfall throughout the day and evening. Whether you're handing out promotional flyers, explaining our offers, or simply creating excitement around the venue, your enthusiasm will directly contribute to our success.
Responsibilities
- Promote the venue to members of the public in high-footfall areas.
- Encourage people to visit the venue by confidently explaining our offers, events and atmosphere.
- Distribute promotional flyers, discount cards and marketing materials.
- Engage with students, local residents and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Represent the brand with a positive, enthusiastic and approachable attitude.
- Build excitement around upcoming events, themed nights and promotions.
- Help increase daily footfall and customer awareness.
- Provide feedback to management on customer reactions and popular promotions.
- Work alongside the marketing team to support promotional campaigns.
- Assist with venue launches, special events and seasonal campaigns where required.
Experience & Skills
Essential
- Friendly, confident and approachable personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable approaching and speaking with members of the public.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Able to work outdoors and on your feet for extended periods.
- Available to work evenings, weekends and during busy student periods.
Desirable
- Previous experience in promotions, hospitality, retail, customer service or sales.
- Experience working at events or brand activations.
- Knowledge of Manchester's student nightlife and city centre.
- Confident using social media to support promotions.
- Passion for nightlife, entertainment and hospitality.
