The Opportunity
Join a cutting-edge Customer Engineering team supporting high-performance hybrid Power Units in an elite motorsport environment.
This is a hands-on role focused on performance optimisation, calibration, and data-driven engineering.
- Calibrate & optimise Power Unit control systems
- Plan & deliver performance + characterisation testing
- Analyse large datasets (MATLAB or similar)
- Develop simulation & analytical tools
- Support HIL / DIL / Rig / Dyno testing
- Drive performance, drivability & reliability improvements
- Manage customer-specific calibrations
- Act as key technical contact for customer teams
What you need to bring
- Experience in high-performance / motorsport environments
- Strong data analysis & problem-solving skills
- Background in test programmes & calibration
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure settings
- Proven collaboration with engineering stakeholders
Technical Experience
- Hybrid powertrain systems & controls
- Performance & characterisation testing
- Simulation / modelling tools
- Test facilities (Dyno, Rig, HIL/DIL)
- Power Unit ↔ chassis performance interaction

Requirements
Degree (2:1 or above) in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
