Sphinx are expanding and we want YOU to join our team of awesome Event Hosts in Liverpool!
We run interactive quiz nights and similar entertainment events. Our ideal candidate will be based somewhere within Merseyside and able to cover events within their local area. Whilst a full UK driving licence would be advantageous, it isn't a requirement, and adjustments can be made for the right candidate.
Our Event Hosts are the centrepoint of our events and responsible for ensuring our guests have a brilliant evening and the venue (our client!) get a great service. You'll create strong working relationships with venues and customers alike and play a pivotal role in helping continue our expansion across the North West.
It can be a demanding role, but we genuinely think its really fun - and our current hosts agree. In our latest survey (January 2026), our team unanimously agreed that they still want to be hosting with us in 12 months' time. They all felt they were well equipped and well trained to do their job and they all think their role with Sphinx gives them transferable skills to further themselves outside of the business. Our average Event Host satisfaction score was a whopping 94.71%!
