The role
As our newest Warehouse Operative, you would join our small, friendly team to support the smooth movement of stock through our warehouse, from goods-in, to dispatch.
You’ll be involved in a wide range of hands-on tasks, supporting the safe, accurate, and efficient flow of products through the business
Your typical day will include:
- Picking and allocating stock for dispatch
- Packaging goods securely and preparing them for shipment
- Checking the quality of products before they leave the warehouse
- Glazing timber doors (full training provided)
- Loading and unloading vehicles manually and with an FLT
- Checking products against delivery notes, including measuring door sizes and glass apertures
- Lifting and moving bulky stock items throughout the workspace
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
What we are looking for from the successful candidate will be:
- Be highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Has a strong attention to detail
- A can-do, pro-active attitude- this is essential given that we’re a smaller team
- Fork lift truck experience
- Full driving licence
