Job Summary

Rebound Care and Support are seeking to recruit experienced female brain injury support workers (part-time role) to support our young (10 y.o), very active client who lives with his family in Cranbrook area, Kent, working on 2:1 basis during day time, 1:1 sleeping nights. The role will focus on providing personalised support to enhance his independence, daily structure, well- being and community engagement.
We are currently looking for a part-time staff member 3 shifts per week.
Hours
Tuesday to Friday 3:30pm to 9.30pm
Saturday 8am to 9.30pm - alternate weekend cover will be required.
Monday to Sunday - 9.30pm to 8am sleeping nights.
School holidays – 12 h shifts.
Pay
Mon - Fri - £17.00 p/h
Sat - £18.50 p/h
Sleeping nights are at a flat rate
Responsibilities
- Following personalised support plans and risk assessments
- Assist individuals in accessing community to improve their quality of life.
- Support individuals in setting and achieving their personal goals.
- Provide guidance and support to the client , ensuring best practices and a person-centered approach.
- Assist with medication management and help service users attend health appointments.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all support provided, maintaining professional and respectful documentation.
Experience
- We are looking for supportive, patient and committed team members to provide the care in the afternoons and during the nights (sleeping nights shifts). The Ideal candidates will need to have experience in working with BI clients (paediatric experience), challenging behaviour, attention to detail and have a can-do attitude.
Training & Background Checks
An enhanced DBS check & full training will be provided prior to commencing work with our client and you will also be supported by our clinical lead nurse for the area.
