Lovely returning clients based in Wiltshire are seeking an experienced and proactive Domestic Couple to support the smooth running and maintenance of their beautiful rural home, set within 130 acres of land (including 120 acres of rented farmland). The property features an outdoor swimming pool, tennis court, vegetable garden, and a small number of animals including 2 ponies, 1 horse, 2 dogs, and chickens, with future plans to expand. This is a varied and hands-on role suited to a practical and organised couple who enjoy countryside living and are confident working both independently and collaboratively. The household comprises 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms, with three children aged 16, 15, and 8 (the two eldest children attend boarding school and are home on weekends and during school holidays). Duties for the Housekeeper include full housekeeping to a high standard, daily cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping), laundry, ironing and wardrobe management, bed making and linen changes, deep cleaning, care of delicate materials and some silver polishing, grocery shopping and running household errands. Additional duties include overall care and maintenance of the property and grounds, basic DIY and handyman tasks, pool maintenance, general garden and light woodland upkeep, maintaining the vegetable garden, liaising with contractors, responsibility for property security, assisting with basic electrics and general maintenance, and supporting care of the animals. The role is offered on a 5 days per week basis, 9 hours per day. Both candidates must be confident drivers and have their own car. Accommodation provided is a separate cottage nearby to the family home. The ideal couple will have previous longevity in roles, be practical, proactive and hands-on, demonstrate high attention to detail, be comfortable working around animals and within a rural environment, and be trustworthy, discreet, flexible, and able to manage their time efficiently while working independently. House and pet sitting will also be required when the family are travelling. Offering a salary of £70,000-£75,000 gross per annum combined. Interviews to commence immediately for a July start at the earliest with the flexibility for the right candidates.
