What You Will Be Doing: (Duties & Responsibilities)
- Alarm handling dealing with the alarm panel and advising the client of relevant information.
- CCTV Operating as part of this you would review, save, and burn CCTV.
- Supporting with CCTV coverage Deter/apprehension or external theft or any incidents within store.
- Dealing with first Aid incidents CCTV coverage and allocating a first aider when needed.
- Key control signing in and out of store keys.
- PC data entry and basic administration duties, DOB, E-Mails, Incident reports.
- Deal with client requests via telephone and email in a professional nature.
- Monitor all systems within the control room in an efficient manner, ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation, and the codes of practice.
- Communicating over internal and external Radio.
- Liaise with Police, other agencies, and designated employees to coordinate the appropriate emergency response by risk assessment and adherence to company procedures.
- Report all events and actions taken in a clear, legible, and accurate written format.
- Provide efficient and courteous telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries
- Ensure smooth handovers between operators.
Key Tasks
- Following training, you will have a full understanding of the functions covered at the premise that you are working at including: Security, Cov-19 Safe Systems of Work, emergency evacuation procedures,
- To portray smart and presentable image for both our clients and company brand.
- To use excellent communication skills when conversing with visitors to the premises.
- Use only polite language to address visitors and staff. It is essential that you remain calm during all situations and achieve results by verbal persuasion if applicable.
- To ensure that you conduct your duties in a consistent and appropriate manner and in line with company policy and statutory requirements.
- Complete all relevant paperwork including but not limited to, Daily Occurrence Book, Incident Reports, Visitor Appointment signing in.
- Dealing with emergency situations/incidents.
- As per the Assignment Instructions you will report any faults or areas for improvement in regard to the safety of persons within the building to the site manager and operational support.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties. The duties may change from time to time in line with the needs of the business and will be discussed between the manager and the post holder.
What We Need From You: (Skills & Experience)
· Must hold a current both a DS and CCTV SIA front line licence
· Must hold a full clean Driving Licence.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Deal confidently with a range of difficult situations/people at work.
· Adaptability.
· Ability to work well under pressure and comply with strict deadlines.
· Ability to write clear and concise reports.
· Ability to use own judgement and assess possible risk to the company and individuals when making decisions.
