The Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students both inside and outside the classroom. Duties may include:
- Supporting teaching and learning across a variety of subjects
- Working with small intervention groups and providing 1:1 student support
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Supporting students with additional learning or emotional needs where required
- Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and academic progress
What We Are Looking For:
- A degree in any subject area
- A genuine interest in education and supporting young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach to work
- Previous experience working with children or within a school setting is desirable, but not essential
