Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum (experience dependant) paid door-to-door.
Location: Manchester and surrounding areas.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week + paid overtime

Duties:
- Travel to client sites within a 3 hour radius of your house, accurately diagnosing faults, servicing, and carrying out emergency repairs on an array of materials handling equipment (e.g. hand pallet trucks, powered pallet trucks, manual stackers, electric stackers, stair climbers, powered trolleys, scissor lift tables).
- Liaise with customers regarding materials handling equipment.
- The ability to work independently within customer's sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure equipment is serviced/repaired accurately and efficiently.
- Accurately fill out job sheets regarding work that has been carried out on customer's site.
- Be a friendly face of Nationwide Handling, being polite and respectful to every customer.
- Very occasional weekend work.
- Very occasional overnight stays (expenses paid for by the business).
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- Be proficient in mechanical, and electrical repair and fault finding (essential).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work (essential).
- Able to work independently on the road, with support via phone from office staff (essential).
- Excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with customers and colleagues (essential).
- An understanding of Health & Safety requirements in a workshop practice (preferred).
- Previous experience in the materials handling or warehousing industry (preferred).
