Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of a camp site shower block. The ideal candidate will ensure that our facilities meet high standards of hygiene and presentation, creating a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise toilets, washbasins, and other sanitary fittings to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures as required
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll to ensure continuous availability
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management
- Follow organisational procedures for health and safety, ensuring a secure working environment
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to perform manual cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
Hours
Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7.30am-9.30am , Days will increase to 5 a day if wanted.
