Hunters Hall is a busy and well-loved wedding venue near Dereham, and we are looking for friendly, reliable and hard-working people to join our team.
This is a varied role working across different departments of the venue, including functions, bar and housekeeping. No two days are the same, and we are looking for team members who are happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
The role may include:
Functions
- Setting up and clearing event spaces
- Serving food and drinks
- Looking after guests during weddings and events
- Resetting rooms after service
- Assisting on the function bar
Bar
- Serving drinks and handling payments
- Re-stocking and glass collection
- Keeping the bar clean and organised
- Providing good customer service to guests
Housekeeping & Breakfast Service
- Cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard
- Making beds and preparing rooms for guests
- Assisting with breakfast service
- General cleaning and housekeeping duties

We’re looking for people who aren’t afraid of hard work, take pride in doing a good job and enjoy being part of a close-knit team. Weddings and events can be busy, fast-paced and physically demanding at times, so being willing to muck in and support others is important.
Hospitality experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided. What matters most is a positive attitude, reliability and a genuine willingness to get stuck in.
The details:
- Mainly weekend work
- Shifts can vary depending on department and business needs (typically between 8am–1pm)
- Additional weekday shifts may be available
- Own transport is essential due to our rural location
Working in weddings is hard work but rewarding, and you will play an important part in helping deliver great events for our couples and guests.
