Salary: £31,000.00 - £40,000.00
Location: Huddersfield
Shift: 45hrs Per Week (Mon-Fri 07.30 – 5.00pm)

Small Tools Fitter - About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and skilled Small Tools Fitter to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of small plant and tools, ensuring all equipment is safe, functional, and ready for hire/use.
Small Tools Fitter - Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and maintain small tools and equipment (e.g., drills, breakers, saws, generators)
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
- Complete routine inspections and safety checks
- Prepare equipment for hire and ensure it meets company standards
- Keep accurate records of work carried out
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop
- Follow all health & safety procedures
Small Tools Fitter - Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role (small plant, tools, or mechanical repair)
- Good mechanical knowledge and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic IT skills for record keeping (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)
