Overview:
We are seeking a Chef to join our experianced team at a vibrant pub in the heart of Clapham Old Town. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and be willing to learn. We produce classic English pub food including fish and chips, pies, burgers etc & have a busy Sunday roast service. You will support the head chef in all aspects of running the kitchen.
Duties:
- Leading service, once fully menu trained
- Prep & cleaning duties
- Ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained
- Overseeing food preparation and cooking processes
- Cooking and plating dishes
- Ordering & receiving deliveries.
Ideal qualities we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Chef in a busy restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of hospitality industry practices
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Familiarity with food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for delivering high-quality dishes that exceed customer expectations
