Hydro-Rod (K J Howard Civil Engineering Ltd) is a family run business, providing quality drainage works across Devon.
We are seeking to recruit Skilled Drainage Installer / Ground Worker to enhance our team. This role would be suitable for someone with experience in construction.
The position is permanent and offers a wide range of works to allow the right
candidate personal growth and job satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Installation of new drainage safely and efficiently in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Carrying out repairs to existing drainage systems
- Assist in the installation of new sewage systems including septic tanks, treatment plants and similar systems.
- Carrying out all associated ground works
- Carrying out all reinstatement works to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on projects requiring specialised technical skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in drainage and or ground works
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Relevant certifications or licences related to heavy machinery operation or welding are advantageous.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. Pay: £14.50-£16.00 per hour
