Job Summary
We are seeking a Trainee Sign Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw materials into high-quality signage through precise fabrication techniques. This role involves working with various tools and welding methods to produce durable and accurate signs, primarily focusing on aluminium and structural components. The successful applicant will contribute to our manufacturing processes, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in all tasks.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine fabrication requirements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Conduct basic assembly of fabricated components according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet all technical standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow.
- Willingness to work alongside collegues.
Skills
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
- Will be trained to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
