Role: Senior Business Development Executive
Contract: Full time, perm
Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire
Main Duties for Senior Business Development Executive:
- Develop new business opportunities and build relationships with employers, stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Conduct consultative discussions to identify workforce development, training and organisational needs.
- Create tailored proposals and commercial solutions in collaboration with internal teams.
- Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial enquiry to contract award.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts and CRM records.
- Lead commercial discussions, negotiations and client presentations.
- Grow existing client accounts through repeat business and long-term relationship management.
- Represent the organisation at networking events, conferences and industry forums.
- Work closely with marketing teams to support lead generation and brand awareness.
- Share market insights and customer feedback to support future business growth and service development.
Experience required for Senior Business Development Executive:
- Proven success in winning new B2B business and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong consultative sales and business development experience.
- Ability to manage opportunities from lead generation through to close.
- Skilled at identifying client needs and developing tailored commercial solutions.
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Excellent written communication skills, including proposals, presentations and business cases.
- Commercially astute with strong judgement and decision-making skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing a structured sales pipeline.
- Self-motivated, resilient and driven to succeed in a growth-focused environment.
