Secondary Teaching Assistant – Runcorn
Are you passionate about helping young people succeed in their education? Excell Supply is currently recruiting Secondary Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Runcorn, supporting students both in and out of the classroom.
This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates considering a career in education, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to make a positive impact in local schools.
The Role:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects
- Work with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Provide additional support to pupils who may need help with their learning
- Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement
- Assist with classroom preparation and administrative tasks
- Support students with additional learning needs where required
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive and professional attitude
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
