Hours: Full-Time and Part Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
About the Role
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and motivated Commercial Laundry Operative to join our busy team. You’ll play an essential role in ensuring all laundry is processed to a high standard, maintaining efficiency, cleanliness and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working over all seven days pro rata and holiday periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting, washing, drying and folding commercial laundry
- Operating industrial washing, drying and finishing equipment
- Checking items for stains, damage or special treatment requirements
- Ensuring all laundry is processed to company quality standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Meeting daily productivity targets
- Working effectively as part of a supportive team
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Delivery and pick up of laundry from local locations
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has good attention to detail
- Works well under pressure
- Is punctual, reliable and hardworking
- Can manage repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Is physically able to handle manual handling duties
- Enjoys working as part of a team
- Previous laundry or industrial cleaning experience is helpful, but not essential—full training will be provided.
- Full UK Driving License
