Base Salary: £45,000
Commission: Up to 2% of contract value (excluding VAT)
OTE: £195,000+ (uncapped)
Overview
We are a growing construction business seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to generate new opportunities and secure high-value contracts across London and the M25.
This is a high-value role reporting directly to the COO, requiring a commercially astute individual capable of operating at a senior level and managing client relationships from initial engagement through to project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Manage clients from initial contact through to project completion
- Work closely with operations, designers, and architects
- Act as key commercial point of contact throughout project lifecycle
- Use CRM and project management systems to manage pipeline and reporting
- Leverage networks to generate opportunities
Target Sectors (Essential Experience in at Least One)
- Commercial property / commercial developments
- High-net-worth private residential clients
- Residential development
- Government contracts / tendering
- Housing associations
Required Experience
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in business development (construction or related)
- Proven track record of consistently delivering measurable results
- Experience working with high-net-worth and/or commercial clients
- Strong understanding of London / M25 market
- Established network within London advantageous

- Strong deal flow within first 3 months
- High-value contract conversion
- Strong client retention and repeat business
Final Statement
