A well-established national practice is seeking an experienced Children Panel Solicitor to join its specialist Family team. The Role
As a Children Panel Solicitor or Lawyer, you'll manage your own caseload of complex public and private children law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
This role offers the opportunity to handle challenging and rewarding work while maintaining a high degree of autonomy within a supportive and highly experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and represent clients in Care Proceedings and Interim Care Order applications
- Handle Emergency Protection Orders, Special Guardianship Orders, and Adoption matters
- Manage private children disputes, including Child Arrangements and related applications
- Conduct advocacy at hearings and represent clients throughout court proceedings
- Maintain accurate electronic files and work efficiently within a fully paperless environment
What We're Looking For
- Children Panel Accreditation is essential
- Ideally 3+ years' PQE in Family and Children Law
- Strong experience advising on Care Proceedings, Interim Care Orders, Emergency Protection Orders, Special Guardianship Orders, Adoption, and Private Children Law
- Confident advocate with experience representing clients at court hearings
- Ability to manage your own caseload independently from instruction through to completion
