Applicants are invited to apply for this role providing administrative support to the Oxford Institute Summer Programs, an organisation founded by academics and alumni from the University of Oxford. We are a small summer school accredited by the British Accreditation Council as a further education and short-course provider. We organise summer programmes in Oxford, London and China, all conducted by world-renowned academics associated with the University of Oxford, offering students a unique opportunity to broaden their horizons at a world-leading centre of education.
The post will involve:
- Communication with prospective applicants, partners, and colleges
- Acting as secretary to the Course Coordinator and Recruitment Manager
- Liaising on behalf of the executive team with students, parents, and external organisations by telephone, email, and in writing
- Responsibility for the administration of all academic recruitment and selection activity
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and self-motivated person with excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have strong IT skills, a willingness to learn our database system, and the ability to draft correspondence, reports and other documentation with accuracy. You will be expected to liaise professionally with parents, guardians, students and colleagues, and to manage general office duties ensuring all tasks are kept up to date.
