Responsibilities
- Prepare, cut, trim, and portion a variety of meats to a high standard
- Carry out general butchery tasks including deboning and knife work
- Maintain attractive and well-stocked display counters
- Ensure proper stock rotation and assist with inventory management
- Deliver excellent customer service and build positive relationships with customers
- Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards at all times
- Work efficiently during busy periods while supporting the wider team
- Keep the workspace clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working as a butcher is essential
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of general butchery basics including deboning
- Experience working with a variety of meats
- Friendly, approachable, and confident with customers
- Fast-paced and able to work well under pressure
- A strong team player with a positive attitude
- High standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation
