The Role
We’re looking for a Damm Ambassafor who’s excited to bring their skills and ideas to the table. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving organic growth across some of Damm's most strategic customers such as Young's and Urban Pubs & Bars.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Ambassador for Damm you will be the front-line face of Damm, you will deliver organic distribution and rate of sale growth through engagement & activation excellence while building an extensive network across London hospitality to enhance Damm's reputation.
Key responsibilities include:
Customer Engagement:
- Build a robust network of operational and marketing contacts across strategic London based customers.
- Execute activation plans with delivery of regular internal & external post activation reviews.
- Attendance at regional & head office meetings.
- Adapt style and messaging to meet the needs of diverse customer audiences.
- Demonstrate an understanding of customer operational needs and requirements at all times.
- Support customers' internal engagement events as the face of Damm.
- Drive a brilliant basics mindset among customer staff members (perfect pour, consistency of execution, product quality).
Organic Growth:
- Maximise your network and influence across strategic customer estates to secure additional Damm brand listings
- Grow the rate of sale via activation excellence and enhanced staff advocacy of Damm brands.
- Build consumer awareness of and engagement with Damm brands.
- Identify new occasion opportunities to enhance sales and brand visibility.
Activation:
- Identify opportunities for brand led activity support.
- Support staff training & consumer sessions in collaboration with the Damm quality team.
- Ensure alignment of Damm's customer Joint Business Plans with their marketing strategy.
- Digital and social media driven activity & working with customer digital marketing teams.
Networking & Damm Reputation Building:
- Be the front-line face of Damm In London, building a strong network among influential operators in the sector across London.
- Attending industry and influential social events to expand network, identifying opportunities for brand engagement.
- Build and maintain a highly active and visible social media presence, executing in alignment with Damm values and brand strategy.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience in a customer or public facing role.
- Experience in presenting to or dealing with groups.
- Background working with or within the hospitality sector (operator or brand owner).
- Understanding of on-trade dynamics (operational, customer experience, range)
- Based in London
Desirable:
- Existing network of contacts in London hospitality sector.
- Experience in delivering against sales targets and driving rate of sale growth.
- Commercial grounding.
Core Competencies:
- A naturally charismatic host with strong personal presence
- Pro-Active people-person, highly motivated and engaged.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to prioritise and work to strict deadlines.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of customer requirements.
- Creation and delivery of presentations in a 1 to 1 or group environment.
