Personal Assistant – Northwich
Permanent – an average of 15 hours per week @ £15.67 per hour
The client is an active and young 50-year-old man, who has an acquired brain injury and visual impairment. He lives independently in his own home, caring for his daughter every other week, with support from a personal assistant.
The client is passionate about health and fitness, he enjoys cycling at the velodrome and on his turbo trainer at home. He is a semi pro tandem cyclist and goes to the gym regularly each week with an interest in nutrition and health.
We are looking for a confident and active person with a good sense of humour and who has a similar interest in living an active lifestyle, to support the client to live as independently as possible. Tasks would involve supporting with cooking nutritious meals in line with his dietician plan, cleaning, supporting the client to the gym and other community-based activities.
This role is to work alongside the client’s current personal assistant, supporting with cover of annual leave and sickness, as required.
The shifts are 09:00-1630 two days per week. The successful candidate must hold a valid driving licence and have business-use insurance in place for their own vehicle.

Requirements for the role:
Essential:
- Skills in working autonomously when required, however knows when to seek advice and assistance from the wider team
- Excellent communication skills including IT and verbal/non-verbal skills.
Preferable:
- Past experience, qualifications in health and social care.
