CALLING ALL CLASS 2 DRIVERS
FREEWAY Recruitment are looking to hire CLASS 2 Agency Drivers.
All levels of Driving experience are welcomed.
Work assignments vary across a multitude of sectors ranging from general haulage through to sector specific clients. Most of our clients are located in Leeds or Wakefield.
We can offer driving work which is mainly day work, some clients require night out work if this is a preference to the driver. Assignments can range from single day shifts, multi-day, multi-week bookings depending on the our customers transport requirements.
Role/Duties
You will be responsible and familiar for ensuring safe carriage and delivery of goods, making sure you complete vehicle checks in the morning and operating a smooth delivery and collection service , making sure to communicate with transport team on a daily basis.
You must be proficient and knowledgeable in safe loading/unloading, strapping loads, using curtain side vehicles.
Normal start times can vary between 05:00/06:00/07:00am starts
Normal working week is Monday to Friday.
Pay - £15.00 per hour ( PAYE + Holiday Pay) *Please note that these rates do not include any over time rates clients pay.
This is agency work and would suit someone that is flexible for shifts on a daily and weekly basis and likes variety in their work.
Requirements for the role.
- A full and valid class 2 licence with no more than 6 points.
- At least 6 months to 1 years experience operating 18 tonne plus Rigid Vehicles.
- A full and valid CPC and Valid Tacho card
- No dr , dd , in , ms endorsements or any endorsements other than SP , CU , TS Endorsements
