Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and hard‑working Labourer to join our team. You’ll support fabricators and welders across the workshop, helping ensure steel components are prepared, finished, and moved safely and efficiently.
This role suits someone practical, hands‑on, and comfortable working in a busy industrial environment.
Job Role
- Grinding and chipping off welds.
- Cleaning/prepping steel for fabricators and welders.
- Operating mag drills.
- Emptying completed jobs into the yard using sideloaders and forklifts.
- Operating overhead workshop cranes.
Requirments
- Experience in a workshop environment (steel fabrication preferred but not essential)
- Valid forklift licence (or willingness to train)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work as part of a team
Pay: £13.50-£14.00 per hour
