About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team. This is a hands-on role working within a busy construction and recycling environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and housekeeping across multiple operational areas.
The role requires flexibility, as you will be expected to cover most areas of the site and travel to an additional company premises on a weekly basis around 10 mins away.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain offices, welfare facilities, canteens, toilets, and communal areas.
- Ensure all areas of the offices, meeting rooms and recycling facility are kept clean, tidy, and presentable.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect surfaces as required.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Replenish consumables such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels.
- Carry out cleaning duties across all departments and operational areas as required.
- Travel to and clean an additional company premises on a weekly basis.
- Assist with maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or cleaning supply shortages to management.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Comfortable working in a busy construction and recycling environment.
- Flexible and willing to cover multiple areas and locations.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Good attention to detail.
- Full UK driving licence preferred (if travel between premises is required).
