Contract: Full-time, term-time only
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Attendance Officer to join our dedicated team from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school where children are at the heart of everything we do, and where our shared vision and values shape daily practice.
Purpose of the Role
To secure high levels of pupil attendance and punctuality across Banister Primary School by maintaining robust systems, working in partnership with families, and contributing to safeguarding procedures.
The Attendance Officer will play a key role in ensuring all pupils are able to access the school's ambitious curriculum, reflecting our commitment to a vibrant, inclusive and high-achieving school community.
The role supports the school's core values:
Belief – ensuring all pupils and families understand that attendance is fundamental to success
Pride – promoting high expectations and pride in attendance, punctuality and belonging
Success – enabling pupils to achieve their full potential through consistent school attendance
The role also includes providing administrative and operational support to the school office, ensuring the effective day-to-day running of front-of-house systems.
