Are you an experienced Diagnostic Technician looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, modern workshop environment?
At Available Car, we’re looking for a skilled Senior Diagnostic Technician to join our Aftersales Team. You’ll play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles across a wide range of makes and models, ensuring every vehicle leaves our workshop to the highest possible standard.

The Role
As a Senior Diagnostic Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out advanced diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs using the latest dealer-level diagnostic equipment. You’ll work closely with the wider Aftersales Team to deliver exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing complex faults across all makes and models
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs efficiently and accurately
- Using dealer-level diagnostic equipment and technical systems
- Completing repairs to the highest standards first time
- Supporting workshop efficiency and mentoring junior technicians where required
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with company procedures and health & safety standards
- Contributing ideas and improvements to workshop processes and performance
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about vehicle diagnostics and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
You will ideally have:
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Proven diagnostic and fault-finding experience
- Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Experience using modern diagnostic equipment
- A full UK driving licence
- A positive attitude and strong team ethic
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: Up to £42,000.00 per year
