Our core product verticals are Electricity (switches, dimmers and sockets), Lighting and Hardware (door and cabinet) but we haven’t forgotten our legacy iconic items such as custom motorcycles and whisky bars.

The Role
- Work closely with our Product Team to support our Product Management, Product Development, Design, Compliance and Quality functions with the launch of extraordinary electricity, lighting and hardware products to global markets.
- You will be a Product Design, Industrial Design, Design & Technology or related field graduate, or equivalent industry experience.

- Projects will be varied across the department, with some flexibility to shape the role to leverage specific strengths. Advantage if you can evidence experience in CAD, displays and/or packaging.
- CAD capability essential; SolidWorks preferable. You must have experience in producing 3D CAD models and scrutinising 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
- Must have excellent computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. Strong expertise with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign also beneficial.

- UK travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Exposure to all elements of Product launch from inception through to appraisal.
- Primary focus for design, product CAD, displays and packaging.
- Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables.
- Support cross functional teams to ensure product delivery, with primary partners in design and Product Management.
- Report and document product performance.
- Be a key member of our Product team.
Specific tasks may include:
- Conduct market research to offer insight.
- Work with key stakeholders for range appraisal.
- Support in business wide reporting against key KPIs.
- Edit or create CAD files for components or packaging using SolidWorks.
- Produce CAD assemblies for finished goods or display units.
- Analyse product samples for adherence to spec; including colour, dimensions and performance.
- Assist in the creation of instruction manual artwork.
- Propose design improvements.
- Seek improvement opportunities to support our sustainability goals.
- Assist with our IP submissions, including design registrations.
- Liaise with global teams and manufacturing partners, as required.
- Implement pre-defined processes and policies.
- Support with the receipt and dispatch of samples.
- Offer flexibility to support with ad hoc task requests.
