Agricultural/Plant Fitter
Location: Local depot with regional travel
Salary: £15.50- £22 enhanced overtime
Type: Full-time, permanent
The Role
As an Agricultural/Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and installation of modern agricultural machinery, working with some of the most respected brands in the industry.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing agricultural machinery including tractors and sprayers, combines and other farm machinery
- Ensuring all machinery meets manufacturer specifications and is safe for use
- Installing and demonstrating machinery for customers when required
- Travelling to customer sites within the local depot area (full UK driving licence required)
The Ideal Candidate
- A Level 3 qualification in Land Based Engineering or an equivalent qualification (HGV, Plant, Construction, or similar)
- Previous experience working with agricultural machinery
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to work overtime during peak agricultural seasons
