Our current team of over 105 people work across sites in Glasgow (Flanagan Flooring), Northern Ireland (KJ Flanagan) and Ireland, and boast a high level of skills in finance, online and offline marketing, operations and, essential to our success, a drive to deliver quality customer service.
The Job Role
You will act as the first point of contact for customer orders and queries, and also assist with other office job roles when required, including delivery paperwork, customer collections, customer returns, invoicing, credit control, stock control etc.
Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
· Working within our Customer Support team, you will manage inbound telephone calls and emails, offering first class customer service
· Accurately processing customer’s orders on our in-house computer system and responding to queries quickly and efficiently
· Checking stock and processing orders for our on-the-road Sales Managers
· Greeting walk-in customers on a daily basis with some face-to-face interactions when customers are collecting goods. Please note, our Showroom and Trade Counter are currently closed temporarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic
· Liaising with our companies in Ireland and Northern Ireland, and monitoring stock and deliveries between locations
· Taking messages and transferring calls
· Assisting with any office filing, matching or amendments to dockets
· Providing product advice on our wide range of flooring products
· Working with our operations team to ensure prompt deliveries to customers
The jobholder should also perform any other task or activity that falls within the overall scope of the job.

Hours of Work
Monday – Friday, 9.00am-5.15pm
