Cafe/Kitchen Assistant
Leaf Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a busy café for a reliable and hardworking Café/Kitchen Assistant to join a friendly and fast-paced kitchen team.
We are looking for someone who can support the chef and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the kitchen and café environment.
Job duties:
- Basic food preparation and assisting the chef
- Presenting food on plates
- Washing up and general kitchen cleaning
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
- Supporting the kitchen team as required
Requirements:
- Experience preferred, but not essential
- Common sense and a positive attitude are more important
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Smart appearance, polite and friendly manner
- Minimum age: 18 years
Working hours:
- 40–45 hours per week
- 5 days over a 4-week rolling rota
- Includes two weekends in four
- Shifts between 7:30am – 4:00pm
Contract:
- Rolling 4-week rota system
