My client, a well established and highly regarded law firm with a strong presence across Gloucestershire is looking to expand its established and busy Private Client Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced fee earners to take on a varied caseload within a dynamic and forward-thinking firm that offers long-term career progression and a supportive environment.
As a key member of the Private Client Team, you will have the autonomy to manage your own caseload, providing expert legal advice on a range of matters, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, and the Administration of Estates. You will be expected to demonstrate strong technical knowledge, handling cases with minimal supervision while maintaining a client-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your own caseload of private client matters, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration
- Build strong relationships with existing clients and attract new clients through your own business development efforts
- Engage in self-marketing and participate in general marketing activities on behalf of the department and firm
- Provide expert legal advice with care and empathy, ensuring that clients receive a high standard of service
- Demonstrate commercial and social awareness, responding to the changing needs of clients and the market
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in managing a varied private client caseload, with expertise in Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration
- Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent client handling skills, demonstrating both empathy and professionalism
- A proactive approach to business development, with a keen interest in self-marketing and attracting new clients
- A social and commercially aware mindset, with an understanding of the broader market
- The ability to build and maintain excellent client relationships
