We’re now looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly team and help lead by example in delivering the highest standards of care.
About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll take on both hands-on care duties and leadership responsibilities. You’ll act as a role model to the care team, ensuring that every resident receives personalised, dignified and safe care at all times.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality personal care and emotional support to residents
- Lead and support the care team during shifts
- Administer medication in line with company policies (training provided if required)
- Complete accurate documentation and care plans
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals and home management
- Promote a positive, caring and inclusive culture throughout the home
About You:
- Previous experience in a care setting essential
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, compassionate and committed to excellent care
- Medication training and supervisory experience desirable
