Role Purpose
To take ownership of the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring landlords and tenants receive an exceptional service and maintenance issues are managed proactively. The successful candidate will help develop and lead the Property Management department as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of residential properties from move-in through to tenancy end.
- Build strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries and resolve tenancy issues.
- Manage all reactive and planned maintenance.
- Instruct contractors, obtain quotations and monitor performance.
- Ensure repairs are completed to agreed standards and timescales.
- Arrange and complete routine property inspections.
- Monitor rent arrears and support landlords with resolutions.
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle complaints professionally.
- Work closely with the Compliance Lead on statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate property management records.
- Drive process improvements within the department.
About You
You need to be a highly motivated and dependable individual. Previous experience within the private rented sector is required, with a knowledge of property maintenance and ability to relay information from a contractor to the a property owner accurately and confidently. Knowledge of the Fixflo software is a bonus.
You need to have a full and clean drivers license and the Salary will be based on experience.
Hours
Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm. Rota system within the office for manning out of hours phonelines - averaging 1 evening a fortnight and 8 weekends per year.
You will be provided a mobile phone and share of pool office vehicles.
Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
