Overview

This newly created position has come from company growth and they're looking for someone who can start as soon as possible. For the right person, this role won't just be bookkeeping and will have exposure to accounts and so much more if the shoe fits!
This is a permanent role, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with hybrid working after probation.
Salary is up to £32,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
Duties
- Managing a portfolio of clients, overseeing bookkeeping and VAT return requirements
- Scheduling and controlling deadlines to ensure all regular work is completed accurately and on time
- Undertaking bookkeeping for a range of clients and preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Preparing management accounts as required
- Preparing and filing CIS returns
- Assisting managers with the preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Keeping Directors informed of assignment progress and key updates
What we're looking for
A successful candidate for this position will have circa 1 year+ UK accountancy practice bookkeeping experience. You must be within a reasonable commuting distance of Bexhill.
